Stimulating pack.... mmmm

No, it's not KRudd's economic stimulus package.. it's better!
Infinity Ward a month back released a stimulus package (exclusively for 360, sad for ps3 users =() which included new maps.

The Stimulus Package will be a 30 day timed exclusive for X360, plus confirmation of old maps as DLC.

The announcement starts off with thrilling news for Xbox LIVE Silver members, as they will be able to experience the Xbox LIVE Gold features from 12-15 March. This means you will be able to play online (or two player co-op in Special Ops) this complete weekend (including today!). So pick up those controllers and we will see you online!

Riot shield use..

The riot shield is quite the weapon if used correctly... and on the right map!
Whenever I use the riot shield I tend to use it only on maps that have narrow lanes or maps that have a lot of corners and minimal straights. Favela fits both descriptions perfectly but other maps such as Sub-base and Skidrow are also good maps to use the shield in.

The riot shield can deflect a lot of bullets, I mean a lot! It can deflect bullets from killstreaks such as Pavelows and Harriers, it also deflects explosions although for some reason, a semtex stuck to the shield will kill you instantly so be careful!

To use the shield to its maximum effectiveness, crouch and aim directly at the person shooting at you and begin to move forward towards him. Strafe when he strafes so you always have the shield pointed towards him. A shield requires two melee strikes so strike quickly! Same method applies for killstreak awards, crouch and aim your shield directly at the aircraft.

In terms of weapons and equipment as well as perks:
Secondary Weapon: A shotgun
Equipment: Throwing knife if wanted or semtex.

Perk 1: Marathon
Perk 2: Cold-Blooded
Perk 3: Commando
